Roadmap
Where Canonex is heading
Canonex grows from real play: each step is tested at the table before the next one starts. This is the current plan, in rough priority order, without dates. It changes as we learn.
Now
Being designed or built at the moment.
Facts and knowledge
Facts as records, with who knows, suspects or wrongly believes each one, and when they learned it. The foundation for answering “who knows what?”
Session night polish
Refining Jot, the GM bar and the Scene Runner from real play.
Next
Planned to follow directly.
Reveals at the table
Reveal a fact to the party or one character during play, and see what each of them knows.
Clocks and NPC memory
Progress clocks tied to campaign records, and NPCs that remember how the party treated them.
Graph intelligence
Ask who would know something, map which secrets depend on each other, and see the fallout when a key NPC dies.
Faction turns
Move factions forward between sessions, with the changes recorded in campaign memory.
Later
Direction, not yet scheduled.
First public build
A packaged installer, and release notes kept here on the Changelog.
Richer player view
A “what the players can see” indicator, and sharing a region of a map.
More desk widgets
Random tables, timers, audio cues and Foundry encounter controls on the desk.
More game systems
Canonex’s core is system-neutral. Pathfinder 2e comes first; other systems will follow.
